On this day, we commemorate the birth of Wounded Warrior Outdoors founder Ron Raboud. We extend our heartfelt happy heavenly birthday wishes to Ron, whose absence is deeply felt, yet whose legacy lives on through our collective efforts. We are confident that Ron would be proud of the unity and dedication that have come together to carry forward his vision. Until we meet again... "We've got the watch".

Those who knew him, had the honor of knowing someo

Those who knew him, had the honor of knowing someone special. Those who loved him really had the privilege.

Shane fiercely took care of the people he loved and lived his life with an honesty and strength that was unwielding. As your friend he would never let you feel sorry for yourself and equally would never let you feel bad about yourself. In a time when I was very heavily feeling both ways, he would call me almost every day and give me the tough love i needed. I went to him for advice, strength and courage many times.

I'm so, so sad I'll never get to see him again, but I know his spirit lives on in everyone he has touched along his way. I will mourn the loss of my friend Shane Pallister forever, but will honor the strength he showed and shared throughout his life. Shane overcame so many things and proved the world wrong many times. I'm glad he is no longer in pain.

Please send love and prayers to Veronika, Mia, Justice, Rikki and the rest of Shane's family and friends. Get outside today and take in the sun in honor of a good man gone. 💪❤️
