I have had myself one hell of an amazing time at the @yellowstonesongwriterfestival in Cody, Wyoming. I got to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and spread my songs to a whole new group of listeners. Thank you so much to everyone who made this festival possible! It was an honor to be in the company of such amazingly talented people. It was a spark I've been needing ❤

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported and continues to support me all of these years!
Lately life has kind of taken the reins and I've been quite busy. I feel beyond blessed to be busy in these uncertain times, but it has caused me to fall back on certain things. My apologies to everyone for that! Time management is not my strong suit 😂
I have several shows coming up for the rest of the summer that I will be better about posting and I hope to see ya'll at some of them.
I will also be starting back on Tessy Lou Tuesdays next week and look forward to seeing/chatting with y'all!

My first night in Austin after the move, dad and I

My first night in Austin after the move, dad and I went to the Broken Spoke to watch Chris Wall play. He asked me to sell merch for him and I was more than happy! Then he was kind enough to let me get up and sing a few songs with him. It was because of Chris we met a large amount of people who helped me along on my musical journey. For that, I am eternally grateful.
Chris was an incredible songwriter, a fellow Montanan and a true friend. He will be greatly missed my many.

Rest in peace, my friend. Thank you for everything ❤

Appreciation post here.
Some of you have heard the story about my newest pair of glasses, some of you have not. So here we go.

Once upon a time, my sister and I took a hilarious photo. I was pissed because she got to wear the dress I wanted to wear and the picture has brought laughs to the family since.
Fast forward about 27 years, Molly and I decide to remake said photo with some equally awful dresses from Good Will. Plenty of people got some laughs from that, and we sure enjoyed ourselves while making the recreation.

In the sea of comments, a deal was made. My eye doctor and I make a pact that if I wear that dress to my next appointment he would throw in a pair of glasses at my next exam.

Don't challenge me to a good time, sir.

On down the road, it's time for my yearly exam. I walk in to my appointment and recieve a confused look, an "I heard something about a pink dress", and "Ha! You actually wore it!"

We all cracked up, took a picture and giggled our way through my exam. Then, true to his word, Dr. Dobson tells me to pick out any pair of glasses, "A deal is a deal." So in honor of the specs that started this whole thing, I found a pair that was a close to my original, thick plastic, clear pink, glorious glasses I had as a child. And I was stoked.

Today, I felt it was fitting that I FINALLY make my appreciation post. I have been in glasses pretty much my entire life and had many eye doctors, but he is by far my favorite. If anyone is looking for a new eye doctor, @behappyseeclearly is definitely worth the visit!

Happy Birthday, @brad2kris ! Thank you for continuing to help me see properly and doing so with levity and silliness!
